[Variety] Heroes - Episode 34

It's the event the girls have been preparing for is about to start, 2,000 soldiers packed the venue, eagerly waiting for the girls to perform.  They also invited 2 more girl groups to make the show more exciting, Sistar and Secret! ^^

First performance is by Sooah dancing to "Into the Rhythm", Inyoung with "Cinderella" and Narsha singing to a song I personally love, "I'm in Love". =)  Next on stage is Gahee and Sayeon dancing to Son Dambi's "Queen".

Sistar and Secret performed the intermission before the next Heroes groups come out.  Bongsung, Leejin and Gaeun is next with "Single Ladies".  And the final members to go up the stage are IU, Jiyeon and Inna in cute cheerleader outfits dancing to "Hey Mickey".

The name tag tearing race continues.  Haha is relaxed because tearing his name tag will get Jaesuk out, and Gwangsoo intentionally got the green team angry to get his name tag torn off to which gets Taehwan out.  Taehwan was so surprised by what happened that he really wanted to get his revenge, he really is so much like Jongkookie. ^^  Yeonjae is so cute, she's like a little girl enjoying the whole thing, playing catch. =)

The next day, because of the rain, they have impromptu indoor games.  Each member was asked to write a game they're confident in, and the PD will pick 3 games randomly.  The games picked were gonggi, ddakji, stretching, and cola and cider.

And finally, they moved to their final race location where they each picked a card with numbers under them.  They will take off name tags in numerical order starting from number 9 to 1.  The target person can take off name tags of other members and get their number in place of his.  Jongkook is number 9 which made him the first target to go to jail.  But with the turn of events, Jongkook and Taehwan got revived in the end to revenge for what the other members did to them. ^^

[Variety] Immortal Song 2 - Episode 75

Jeong Dongha had been very lucky not to be picked to sing first but that luck is not here this time I guess because for the first time, he's singing first.  Singing next is their biggest rival on the show, Sweet Sorrow, it's the record holder vs. the king of kings winners.  Dongha prepared a cowboy performance that kept everyone anticipating, while Sweet Sorrow performed a very enjoyable number with some swing and dancing. =)

The next 2 singing are the 2 ladies on the show, Hwayobi and Byul.  B1A4 is picked next, Sandeul is doing a solo performance, I didn't know he sings that well.  And Son Hoyoung is picked as the final singer.

[Variety] Moonlight Prince - Episode 1

Hosts:  Kang Ho Dong, Tak Jae Hoon, Jeong Jae Hyeong, Shim Changmin, Brave Brothers.

This is the new variety show that Kang Hodong is hosting after his long break from the business.  I really wish it will find it's footing and become a better show that can stay for a long time.  I'm personally looking forward to watching Changmin and Hodong interact, and how they will be funny together. =)

Their first guest is Lee Seo Jin.  I think he's a good friend of Hodong to be appearing in another variety show with him, because I remember he really hated being on 1N2D but he still did it. ^^  The concept of Moonlight Prince is they talk about a book the guest chose, they will answer viewers' questions that will earn him money for every correct answer, and donate the total amount to charity.

The book Lee Seojin chose is "The Evening Star" by Hwang Seokyeong.  The book is about the developments in the 1960's and 70's.  They all should agree on the right answer, if they got it wrong, they will all get punished.  I'm laughing out loud hearing Changmin's comments and the way the hosts banter. =P

[Variety] Dream Team - Fly! Filial Son!

Dream Team is doing 4 new year specials, and the first is "Fly! Filial Son!".  They invited 16 sons to play and win prizes for their parents.  They'll have to "fly" and pop the balloons hanging from the ceiling, the farther they "fly", the better the prizes are.

First game is one-on-one, the person to pop more balloons wins and moves to the next round, and the final winner gets to pick whichever prize he wants.  And their girl group guests are Jewelry.  Second game is pop the golden balloon.

Bird PD called the members for a meeting on their year-end special, it's going to be an island music festival.  They picked Gasado, a very far island from Seoul with only 150 in population to hold a "singing party" with the residents. 

The PD decided on 3 genres and picked one member to head each genre of music, Sikyung for ballad, Jongmin for dance, and Taehyun for trot.  Those 3 will be "judges" to pick their members, audition style, LOL! XD  They invited guests to help them with the performances, they're Yoo Huiyeol,  Yoon Jongshin, and Yoonsang.

[Variety] Immortal Song 2 - Episode 74

They have first timers in the line up namely Lee Kichan and House Rulez.  And just like the other first timers, Lee Kichan wasn't able to escape the first timer-first singer bug.  And the second singers to sing after him are B1A4, who are aiming for their very first win on the program.  It's always so much fun to listen to Hwayobi's comments, LOL! XD

Hwayobi is next garb in hanbok and the arrangement of her song is also in traditional Korean style.  Sweet Sorrow sang a mellow ballad that reminds of the the old days.  House Rulez is next, they specialize in house music.  Jeong Dongha showed some Ricky Martin vibe with his greasy Latin dance performance. =P

[Variety] Dream Team - Year-End Special

In this year-end special, we get to know the history of Dream Team from it's first airing in 1999 until today.  We get to see lots of today's biggest stars, actors, singers, athletes, all doing their best in Dream Team back then. 

Jo Sungmo who is one of the record holders of Dream Team narrated for this special.  First, they showed us the best 5 moments of season 1:  5th is Survival Indiana Jones, even actor Go Soo failed to pass the challenge and all the marines failed as well, so only Lee Sangin became the sole survivor of the obstacle.  4th is Australia Zoo Tour, 3rd is 102m bungee jump in Queensland New Zealand, where Yoo Jaesuk successfully jump beautifully. ^^  2nd is Heroes of King of Kings, some of the challengers of this episode are Jo Sungmo, Kim Jongkook, Lee Sangin, Im Changjeong, and Kim Seunghyeon.  And the 1st best moment of season 1 is Sliding Mud Jump, where Jaesuk and Hodong are both guests. =)

Notable names in Dream Team history are Jo Sungmo, Lee Sangin, Kim Jongkook, Junjin, and Im Changjeong are from season 1.  Season 2 has new names in the ace list, Minho, Sangchu, Kim Byeongman, Ricky Kim, Choi Seongjo, and Kwon Taeho.

They changed the set just for this episode, instead of a sauna, they're in a police station.  With the gagmen from Gag Concert showing off their trophies from the KBS Entertainment Awards. ^^  They talk about the benefits of getting an award like higher appearance fees, event fees, being treated better, etc.

For Shin Brief, they reveal the rolling papers they wrote for each other.  Rolling paper means each member was asked to write something for the other members without writing their names on the paper making it anonymous.  They read them out and try to guess from whom the messages are. =P
 
Our boys are challenging the skills of a cheerleader, and they're really happy just seeing their teachers, lol! XD  Dongwan can't stop asking questions one after another, LOL! =P  I can't stop laughing while watching the members dance so enthusiastically!  Super funny! XD

[Variety] 1N2D S2 - Episode 36

They continue to play for dinner bokbulbok, 1st round is volleyball toss, where the Good Team won, 2nd round is ping pong ball spitting, where in the Bad Team won.  So both teams have eaten so far and I'm happy! ^^  3rd game is golf ball heading, hitting a golf ball with their head?!  That's painful! =S  Next game is big ball heading, and the final game with jjigae in addition to the bulgogi as prize is water balloon long toss.

While taking a rest, Taehyun showed pictures of his babies, so cute! ^^  Then they played arm wrestling and Taewoong and Sikyung are amazing, they didn't give up for a really long time.  Sleeping bokbulbok is an upgraded 3 part match, 1st is truth game, 2nd is butt wrestling, and 3rd is laughing game.  They played pig wrestling to decide the referee, who will automatically be sleeping indoors.

Their morning mission is hide and seek.  The indoor team will have to look for the outdoor team to win, while the outdoor team has to ring the bell to win.

[Variety] Immortal Song 2 - Episode 73

It's Immortal Song 2's tribute to the program "Korea Sings".  We have some new singers in the line up and lots of returning singers.  And just like the previous week, Shin Dongyup picked the first two singers one after the other. 

First picked is Hwayobi and the second is Song Hoyoung.  Hwayobi is really a 4D, she's so funny, LOL! XD  Hoyoung went on stage next with the song "Every Night", a very fun song that he turned into R&B.  Third singer is Byul, who joined "Korea Sings" when she was in 5th grade. 

Fourth singers picked is B1A4 with the song "Unconditional", one of the most popular trot songs that I've heard in variety shows a lot.  Fifth singer is Boohwal's Jeong Dongha, and Kim Taewon joined him on the performance as well.  They broke Sunghoon's record of 435 votes that haven't been broken for 8 months.  And the final singer is Cha Jiyeon with the song "Weeds", it's also her last stage for the program.

[Variety] Dream Team vs. Jujitsu Team

Dream Team:  Ricky Kim, Shorry, Park Jaemin, Kim Dongsung, Kwon Taeho, Simon, Seho and Changhui.

The guest girl group is Nine Muses, and they played Here Comes, Dream Girls with Dream Team members dressed in animal costumes.  The members are strapped in mattresses and the girl will push the ones she doesn't want to be paired up with.

The obstacles are:  1st is swing snowman jump, 2nd is goodbye Rudolf, 3rd is swing sand bag jump, 4th is turn into Santa and jump, 5th is cylinder with sack of presents.  Their bet this time, the losing team will take off their clothes and will be covered with snow.

XD

[Variety] 1N2D S2 - Episode 35

Members:  Lee Soo Geun, Uhm Tae Woong, Kim Jong Min, Kim Seung Woo, Sung Si Kyung, Cha Tae Hyun, Joo Won.

They're divided into OB and YB teams, each team will hike a different path going to the same destination.  One path is an easy hike up the mountain that will only take an hour, they called it the "sneaker route".  The second path is more difficult and will take over 2 hours to hike, they called it the "hiking shoes route".

They're playing 3 stamina games to decide the course they'll take.  1st is duck house relay, 2nd is human pyramid on the hay roll, and 3rd is shoe kick into the basin.

At the base camp, they showed us the whole footage of Taewoong announcing his marriage to the members.  Taehyun almost cried because he thought Taewoong is quitting the show, *awww* they're really like brothers now. =)  Taewoong shared who, when, where, and how about his fiance. ^^  I had tears down my face watching his video message to his now wife.~  He's a really sweet and shy man, and he deserves someone who will take care of him. =)

[Variety] Shinhwa Broadcast - Episode 42

The members received a message from Junjin to bring their puppies on the show.  During Shin Brief segment, Hyesung introduced each puppy, so cute! ^^  Andy's puppy is Fany, a female maltese, and she's able to follow commands like sit, eat, hand, etc.  Eric's male puppy is called Gomdol (Bear), which we have met in previous episode of Shinhwa Broadcast.  Minwoo's puppy is also male named Poly, and it barks when it sees violence.  Dongwan's puppy is Goguma (Sweet Potato) but he's on vacation with Wannie's parents so he wasn't able to bring him on the show.

Since 2013 is the year of the snake, the members are learning how to take care of real live snakes.  Andy came prepared with gloves and mask, he's really scared of reptiles.

It's the 2nd part of Shin Jung Hyun special with Kim Taewoo as the last winner in the previous episode.

The 7th and 8th singers picked are Yongjae and ALi.  Known for his amazing ballad, Yongjae go for a very emotional version of "Spring Rain".  The show's madam, ALi is singing "Beautiful Woman", I love Wonder Girls' version of this song so I'm looking forward to watching ALi's performance as well. =)

9th and 10th singers are Jaebum and Hyorin.  Jaebum may be short on vocals but his performances is always something to look forward for. ^^  Bora and Soyu showed up back stage to give support to Hyorin who everyone expects to win.  And the last 2 singers are Lyn and Sweet Sorrow.

The guests are 2 of Korea's most loved athletes, swimmer Park Taehwan and gymnast Son Yeonjae. =)  I love how they fanboy over the guests, I can't stop laughing from the opening on. ^^  They form 3 teams, Taehwan and Yeonjae are given the chance to pick their team mates.

The mission is Four Seasons Training Race, where they'll be playing games related to Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.  The team to get 1st place on each game will receive an advantage, that is a chance to change the size of their name tags.

1st game is spring games at an amusement park, one is noraebang and the other is swimming.  2nd is the summer game, they're playing alkkagi to win ingredients for their boodaejjigae.  For the 3rd game, winter training game is human curling.  And for the final battle, they'll have to tear off name tags, find bottled potions and exchange them with the witch.

[Variety] Dream Team vs. Mighty B-Boy Team

Dream Team:  Choi Seongjo, Shorry, Park Jaemin, Kang Dongho, Kim Dongsung, Kwon Taeho, Seho and Changhui.

Their girl group guests are the members of Rania, who they played the Here Comes Dream Girls segment.  After the dance battle and couples are created they played a game where the men carries the girls on their back with the girls holding a ball with their feet.  The team that gets more balls in their basket wins.

They made another bet, the losing team will swim in the sea and pay for sashimi meal.
